The planning application for a Burial Site on Cundy Hill, Westhorpe, Southwell was amended in the week before Christmas to include the erection of a brick-built burial records store. (Application No. 09/01573/FUL) 

Southwell Civic Society objected to the original application on a number of grounds, and this amendment does not alter that objection. 

The Southwell Town Council Planning Committee discussed this amendment at a meeting on Wednesday 6^th January 2010.

The next stage will be the final decision by Newark & Sherwood District Council Planning Committee. The date when the Planning Committee will consider this application is not yet known as an additional wildlife survey is being carried out on the site.
